Barre Art Center is a welcoming space where children (8yrs +), teens, and adults can explore, express, and develop their artistic abilities. Our mission is to preserve the historic legacy of a Barre landmark while creating a safe, inclusive space for the community to explore creativity and healing through the arts, to nurture creativity in an encouraging environment, guided by experienced local professional artists. Through exposure to a variety of mediums and dynamic learning experiences, we inspire individuals of all ages to discover their creative potential, connect with others, and grow both personally and artistically.

Barre Art Center is founded by Susan Mason — a renown photographer, inspiring writer, creator, and mentor — the Barre Art Center opens its doors to all, near and far, who seek a space to create and connect.
